There are different options for parking and make sure to keep an eye out for parking meters as sometimes you may be tricked into thinking that you don't have to pay and you might get fined or your car towed away. Some parking meters have internet payment options which can found by searching the city council websites. So, whenever you park, have a good look around for signage. Usually, you will have to pay for parking in the town centers and CBD areas at least during business hours.
And certainly do not wrongly park at special parks like the commonly seen ones- disabled parks or parents park as these are very offensive.
